Working for Landmark over the past 6 years has been an amazing journey. This company goes above and beyond to make sure their employees are happy and have all the tools they need to be successful. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me here at Landmark, where there are so many opportunities to grow!
My career here at Landmark actually didn't start as an employee at all; about 10 years ago I made my way into a LHG property for the first time as a subcontractor. I have Mr. Jain and Mr. Rahil to thank for seeing potential in me as an individual and choosing to invest in me both personally and professionally.
I started at Landmark Hotel Group as a Night Auditor, a position so often overlooked, because it worked best for me tending to family. Occasionally helping at the desk, I missed the interaction with management and other employees. The General Manager appreciated everything I was doing. She loved my dedication and spirit so much I was promoted shortly after to my current position as Front Office Manager.
When I began my tenure working for Landmark, I had no hotel experience, but I had experience working with the public. My journey started five years ago as a night auditor. After years of proving myself, I advanced to my current position of Operations Manager. Here at Landmark we are a family, and anyone should be happy to work for a place 'Where You Belong'!
I’ve been with Landmark for 12 years and recently took a promotion to Chief Engineer at the new Fairfield Inn & Suites. Landmark gave me the tools, opportunity, and guidance to advance my career in the right direction.
My journey with Landmark Hotel Group started in 2016 when I got the opportunity to join the team as a trainee in our Manager in Training program. During my time in the program, I trained within all departments at multiple landmark properties, that experience trained and prepared me advance my career as General Manager of the Candlewood Virginia Beach Town Center.
My first job with Landmark was food and beverage server when I was 18 years old. Hospitality is in my blood and I knew that I wanted to make a career of it. Over the years I have been given multiple promotions and had the opportunity to work in different markets and brands.
I was impressed with the Landmark Hotel Group right from the start, during the interviews. My last stop on the interview process was with Mr. Raj Rahill (VP of Operations). He asked me, “Why do you want to work with Landmark?” I replied, “Because Landmark believes “people are paramount."
